The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is the voice of women in the building industry, dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members.

GIVE BACK
Throughout the year, our PWB is looking for ways to give back to the community and industry we love. Activities range from helping source items for HBF fundraisers to staining fences for a local nonprofit.
Passionate about supporting women in building, we are the proudest of establishing the PWB Scholarship Fund. Launched in 2022, we have raised over $10K and it's still growing!
ABOUT
The Professional Women in Building Council is a select group of residential building professionals who share strategies and solutions to promote, enhance, and support professional women in today’s home-building industry through education, networking, mentoring, and legislative awareness. The PWB works to: serve as an entry point for women looking to connect within the Home Building Association (HBA) of Greater Portland, facilitate peer-to-peer networking and relationship building, identify and help support leadership and business management training within the HBA, and provide mentoring that encourages opportunities and support for women in all facets of the industry.
